PP FLAKE
We evaluate our PP Flake not only by appearance, but also according to criteria such as foreign polymers, contamination, density, moisture and physical homogeneity that may affect production performance.
We focus on controlling technical properties such as MFI/MFR, purity, density and homogeneity as far as reasonably possible to minimise the impact of structural and flow variations between batches on the production process.
Quality & Material Assessment
The presence of different polymers or unwanted materials in the raw material may lead to unexpected production results. Therefore, keeping foreign polymers and contamination to a minimum is one of the key elements of our quality approach when supplying PP Flake.
PP GRANULES
Our objective with PP Granules is to provide a raw material that is suitable for the production process, homogeneous and as technically consistent as reasonably possible.
For this reason, we assess key criteria such as MFI/MFR, density, moisture, colour, homogeneity and foreign polymers together, while considering the material's suitability for its intended application and process requirements. In PP Granule evaluation, flow behaviour, density, polymer structure and batch homogeneity are considered together to assess suitability for the production process.
Quality & Material Assessment
Batch variations or the presence of different polymers in granulated raw material may affect production performance. At PETLA PLAST, we place importance on keeping foreign polymers to a minimum, monitoring batch characteristics and maintaining a more homogeneous raw material structure.
Technical values for PP raw materials may vary depending on polymer type, raw material source and batch characteristics. Parameters such as MFI/MFR and density should be evaluated together according to the intended application. Upon request, analysis results for the relevant batch and samples may be provided before product evaluation.
