In recycled ABS raw materials, the material source and previous processing history may affect properties such as flow and mechanical behaviour. Therefore, purity, homogeneity and process suitability are considered together.
Quality & Material Assessment
The presence of different polymers, coating/paint residues or unwanted materials in the raw material may affect production performance. Therefore, minimising contamination and monitoring batch characteristics are key elements of our evaluation approach when supplying ABS Flake.
ABS GRANÜL
ABS Granules are a recycled raw material product supplied in granule form and evaluated according to production process requirements.
For granulated raw materials, technical criteria such as MFR, impact strength, Vicat softening temperature, density, colour and purity are evaluated together with the material source, structure and intended application.
Quality & Material Assessment
ABS processing behaviour is closely related to the material's composition and structure. Therefore, for granulated products, batch characteristics, flow behaviour, homogeneity and process suitability are evaluated together to establish a supply approach for the required production process.
Technical values for ABS raw materials may vary depending on the material source, composition, recycling history and batch characteristics. Parameters such as MFR, impact strength and Vicat should be evaluated together according to the intended application. Upon request, analysis results for the relevant batch and sample availability may be shared before product evaluation.
